It’s not accidental that the visual form of AG’s sculpture is inspired by Neolithic aesthetics. Past encounters with archeology allowed AG to experience firsthand the sensation of an object, created millennia ago.

The textures of AG’s sculptures in many ways is inspired by the way an object unearthed after epochs spent under the ground feels.

“…part of how it began was an idea to re-create the feel of the artifact that spent millennia in the ground, open to the elements, after a lifetime of being someone’s personal affect. This sensation is a big part of how I began loving archeology.”
